Oh Skyrim, Y U SO AMAZING?

Although I've been playing it less these days(other things to do+'washing' my brain by watching movies),
whenever I start the game, I'm bound to be stuck on my chair for hours just running around doing quests.
It's a big and awesome world, even the many bugs of Skyrim didn't affect the fun level.

Personally, I like the Dark Brotherhood quests a lot. Perhaps it's because you get to assassinate random people for money? *evil grin*

Just for fun, these are random screenshots taken since I started Skyrim.

This space has been more of an emo rant area and not reflective at all.
Time to kickstart this again.

Hi. :)

It's almost mid-December of 2011, and going to be 2012 real soon.
Am I excited? Nope. Do I believe the world is going to end in 2012? Nope.
But ofcourse, Mother Nature seems to be quite angry these days.
I wouldn't blame her though, looking at the generation now.

What have I been doing these weeks during my holiday?
Pure sitting my ass on the chair and playing games.
That's all, seriously.

Dragon Nest SEA and Skyrim, to be exact.

I didn't really hunt for jobs because the holiday is only 1month-ish and I wanted to have free time for myself, after a grueling Year 2 Semester 1.
In summary of the first semester, I must really say I've been blessed with a very lovely class. :)
I love this class a lot, because I can get along with all of them very well.
Perhaps it's because we're all Animation students, so naturally we tend to have similar interests?

Best of all, I finally have a group of people to discuss awesome games with.
My obsession with games also comes along with this urge to always discuss and critic games, so it's great to have people who are gamers as well. :)

Oh, our LAN sessions are awesome too. Hehe.

I think I'll leave the rest of the cheesy stuff for a Last-day-of-2011 post.

Most of all, yes I'm still very much in love with my Jonathan. :)

When your best work is not even close to the rest of your peers's sketches, it gets so tiring to keep up.
Sometimes I wonder I made the right decision.
Sigh :(

I'm having a one week break now but it's hardly a break.
Just more time to sleep; which is more than enough for me.

School-wise, I like school a lot now.
I have amazing classmates, none of them I even dislike.
I like all of them a lot :) No drama and other unneeded nonsense too.

Even the neighbouring Animation class(there's only 2 animation classes) is great too.
But mine is the best, just saying. HEHE.

On the other hand I have to save more money!
Been spending so much on food lately. Hmm.
And I haven't been to H&M yet! I saw some great buys from friends ):

Life has been better and I'm glad to say I like school, my classmates and lessons.
Though the feeling of 'not being good enough' never leaves my mind, I always have inspiration from things around me. Especially my classmates. (They're so talented!)

TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB 11 AUGUST 2011.

TDCC is one of my most favorite bands and you can imagine how happy I was to know that they were coming.
It was definitely a very rare chance cause they're from UK and they are getting increasingly popular = might overlook Singapore as future tour destinations.
But I'm really glad that they looked like they enjoyed themselves and the crowd's energy = a happy TDCC = they'll return nexttime!

Though it was originally a seated plan, everyone knows that everyone sitting would be kinda disrespectful and un-enjoyable for a band of such genre. So many people did rush to the front and we had more fun (and much better view!) than those sitting awkwardly in their seats :X
But ofcourse there were some that couldn't go infront cause there were all 3 levels! (yes, and tickets were sold out!)
So nice to see such a great crowd.

But at the same time there were attention-seeking people.
Before the band even appeared, there were random music being played by the soundman to 'entertain' us while we wait. So there were some dance-y club music. (Who hired this guy? Wrong genre here.)
Then these bunch of annoying-look-like-everytime-go-club Chinese boys fist pumping and dancing already AND looking around to see got anyone paying attention to them.
Although it sounds okay, in real life if they're in front of you, they are EXTREMELY annoying.
Go back to St James ah thanks. (k jk)

Basically they played their awesome songs from Tourist History and they played their new songs as well! Which sounded more than amazing too! Can't wait for their new album!

The lighting was great. The people were enthusiastic and came from all walks of life and age!
There were Caucasian men in work suits O.O!
But we all sang along as one really loudly :) And danced, ofcourse!
This is what I love about going to band gigs. Everyone singing along together with their favorite band.

Last post was in March!
And it's April now!

Nothing much has changed except that I've grown busier.
I can't wait for the holidays.
If you think you can handle an arts school student workload, you're dead wrong.
Just look at the twitters of NAFA/ Lasalle students and see how much we complain. HURHUR.
But nevermind! WE ARE STRONG PEOPLE.

I realize I'm gonna be a Year2 student very, very soon, with 1 or 2 people I know that will become my 'juniors' as they'll be joining NAFA too! :)
I already miss the times of being a fresh Year 1 kid with teachers being rather lenient as we're 'new'.
NOW CANNOT ALREADY. THEY ALL FIERCE :(
I also miss the old stinky student lounge where almost all da c00l kidz would slack/sleep/use laptop till the next class/till school close.
They closed it for months and now looks brand new and pretty! WITH NICE FURNITURES. WITH A GAMING CONSOLE. Wii if I not wrong.
(Now you know where all our money went!)

Other than that I am now working on my last ISP(Integrated Studio Project) as a Year 1 student and I'm treasuring the fact that I can do it in any outcome!
Nextyear onwards need to be Animation outcomes cause I'm in animation! D:

I want to password protect some blog posts but it's impossible with Blogger without using some time-consuming Javascripts.
Feel like moving to Wordpress because of this. Grr. But I prefer Blogger, so um, yeah moving of blogs not happening.

My neighbour was so nice as to give us some goodies for CNY.
Too bad I was asleep when they did, if not I would have received some redpackets, HEHE.
Jk. But nice people, really.
(Despite them getting a new piano and their daughter would play for hours practicing the same song which would get really annoying over time.)

I've also realized as much as I like my solitude, it's not healthy for me.
Me being alone = me at too much peace = me thinks too much = me mentally fucked.
If me not alone = me not at much peace = me distracted = me mentally healthy.
Perhaps it's the no-life-only-child syndrome thing.
I envy people who have siblings. I really do.
Even if they don't talk much or whatever.
Because atleast you'll always have someone around, even if you're not on good terms yknow?
And sometimes too much attention on you by parents gets so tiring. So so tiring of having to always make them happy and content.
But in the end, they are the only support you got. Only direct family. I've got literally nothing if I decide to just run off or something right? And they'll be alone too.
I only want them to be happy. Hence I never say how I really feel.
It always scares me to think of how they'll only have me to rely on in the future. I'm already tired.
I never get to be myself nor do the things I want. But I'm fine with it. So fine with it till sometimes I wonder who I really am anymore.

Laneway Festival Singapore 2011

I'll start this post by saying that:
this was probably the best night of my life so far.This was the FIRST TIME that Laneway Festival came to Singapore(it's normally held in Australia), thus it's a big deal that SG is the first ever Asian country in their destination list. HOORAY. It'll also mean that they'll most likely return in 2012 too (:
Awesome music, great people from everywhere(Malaysia, New York, Australia, etc), nice venue(Fort Canning is pretty!), THERE WAS NO HOT SUN, and awesome music again.
I used to go quite a number of band gigs but never a festival THIS long(almost 12 hours: 2pm -1.30am), but most of all, Laneway festival had the best lineup ever so far with 9 bands.

Actually I only bought the tickets in the first place for Foals and The Temper Trap.
But I ended up loving the rest as well, especially !!!(Chk Chk Chk), Yeasayer and Holy FU@#K.

When we reached, it wasn't hot at all. But not cold either.
The place was amazing, just like how I saw music festivals on tv/online; filled with interesting people from various places. Also, different age groups. From mostly teenagers, to even late 20's or middle aged.
(For me, the caucasions were harder to differentiate ages cause they look more matured than asians T_T)

But then it started drizzling.
Then the drizzle turned to real rain and everyone went to get ponchos.
(most of the following are my pictures, but a few from others cause I didn't use my hp after the rain got really heavy.)

DJs that played amazing choices of songs inbetween the different bands!

Mud everywhere. Further up it was much worse, everyone got their shoes deep in the mud trying to get out of Fort Canning. We were all struggling to even walk LOL.

All in all, I really had an amazing time.
Dancing to Foals in the heavy rain, high~ without a care in the world.
Having complete strangers sharing umbrellas with you forawhile before a band started playing.
Watching people come together and dance to awesome music.
Seeing 2 caucasian men helping each other out of the mud when they're both completely drunk(such an amusing but sweet sight)
A random caucasian woman flash her boobs while on another person's shoulder during !!!'s performance. (Firsttime see in reallife LOL)
Did I mention the dancing and great music?

Oh yeah I enjoyed Laneway.
I'm definitely going again next year if they have awesome bands like this year's. :D

- Continue being happy!

NAFA released the Semester 1 results and I'm in a mix of relieved and disappointed.
I pass everything though! :)
9 subjects and I got 1 A, 3 Bs, 4 Cs and 1 D.
Quite bad la I know! BUT I PASSED EVERYTHING.
My A was for Video Production -_- Which is not my taken major for next year onwards, sadly.
My major is Animation which got a B. OKAY LA HOR?
And the D was for... Singapore Arts Scene(SAS). Which almost everyone skips cause it's 6-8pm.
I skipped it alot too. But D is still a pass! (Like a C5~6 for Os) so I'm still good with it. -.-
The 4 Cs I already knew would get C cause they were my weak subjects. Having a C is good already. ~_~

I do admit I last-minuted everything and slacked all the way.
SO NEXT SEMESTER MUST GOGO ALREADY.
No more slacking and skipping lessons!

Hi, I am having trouble sleeping at night.
Why?
But I can sleep in the morning~afternoon awhile. :(
So hard to sleep in the night!!

According to THIS,
it's either Insomnia, Sleep Apnea, Pregnancy or Children.
I am now 18, so I do not count under children anymore. (Sadly. Children get nice discounts ok!)
And neither am I pregnant. (HAHAHAH) ...But really. I'm not. REALLY.
Thus it's either Insomnia or Sleep Apnea !
I have ruled out 'abnormal sleeping patterns' like stay up late - sleep late - cannot sleep the next night as a reason because I have no problems with that!
Somemore I can't sleep a whole night sure tired the next night right? But no! Stay up also still can't sleep the next night! :(

SO ANYWAY.
I was bored waiting for a download of a game to finish and I decided to check on....

I AM DONE WITH MY FINAL ASSIGNMENTS AFTER DAYS OF LAST MINUTE CHIONG-ING, STAYING UP LATE TO FINISH UP WORK AND FLU+COUGH+SORETHROAT+HEADACHE.

Tomorrow's the start of ISP and we only had a weekend of rest.
BUT I ENJOYED MY WEEKEND. (no pictures though.)

Okay, we had the big boss assignment for each subject that we have to submit by 15th October.
The assignments don't ACTUALLY take that long to finish.
But procrastination + laziness + certain subject works that take up more time = last minute rushing.

I think people that read my blog should know I only have one side of the family that's Malay right?
So that also means that my Hari Raya $$$ Collection is like 50% of other people's. :(
And my family is those kind that go everywhere to so-called 'check up' on families that aren't related to you/'distant' families(aka I'm-only-here-for-the-money).
So that means I have very little $$ compared to what other fellow Malays collect.
I AM SAD.

After my dad's Eurasian friend came out of the shower(since he went drinking before that and my dad told him to freshen up or something cause he smelt of beer LOL), he felt so refreshed that he said proudly;
